Meet #1 4/12/12 at Warren

The first meet of the season is often difficult because many of the athletes are new to track and do not have the experience of competing against other schools or running on a real track. When the first meet is a home meet, it is especially tough because the coaches are all preoccupied with running the meet and we cannot direct our own athletes. Despite all that, all four Viking teams dominated their competition at Warren.

The 6th/7th Grade boys team scored more points than their three competitors combined! Also, the 7th grade boys 4x100 relay team of Brandon Ellis, Richie Flores, Dante Johnson, and Melvin Pettis broke the school record of 53.24 seconds set in 2009, by running a 52.04.
